For golfers there are plenty of local courses, including Walton Hall, recognised as the premier municipal course in the north of England.

From taking in a movie at the UCI multiscreen to indoor bowling, karting and paintballing, Warrington will keep you entertained. Theres also Pyramid, the towns newest centre for the arts, Parr Hall Theatre and Warrington Museum and Art Gallery. For a more relaxed time, choose from the fine selection of restaurants, bistros and cafes or from one of the 80 plus pubs, ranging from the family friendly to the quiet local.

Retail

National names are close at hand. Youll find all your favourite High Street stores, as well as the likes of Ikea. Golden Square Shopping Centre - the retail heart of the town is home to M&S, Next and, from 2007, a flagship Debenhams store. For a different shopping experience, theres Warrington Market, one of the biggest indoor markets in the north west, with over 250 stalls.
